Play and Other Lessons from my Kids

Recently, my kiddos taught me how to make smile at Sloo Moo Institute and I had a blast! Here are three lessons that I from playing with kids:

Work hard, PLAY harder! While adults get stretched out, stressed out and uptight about any number of things. Kids have this innate ability to shake things off, play and have fun. It’s a quality we should all emulate. Never forget to play and have fun!

Don’t take yourself too seriously. The way the kids willingly embrace silly and goof off can create some of the best memories! These full belly laugh moments are priceless and can’t be bought. So, make it a practice to loosen up and savor the moment.

Be open to meeting new people! I remember taking my daughters to the park when they were about five years old — and it was as though they had never met a stranger. More pointedly, the way that they instantly made friends was remarkable. Their willingness to put themselves out there and extend a hand of friendship is something beautiful that we should all aspire to do.

My kids have taught me the importance of play and the joy that it brings. So, let’s always make time to stop and smell the slime!😆 Let’s make fun, play and joy a regular part of our day.
